What I’m Not

A doctor. Nor do I play one on TV.

A fitness guru or personal trainer. We lift forks, not weights.

A fad follower. What I do is not about the latest shiny penny. It’s not about

what worked for “Sally” or “Johnny”. It’s about fine-tuning your digestive

system so that a properly prepared, whole food, nutrient dense diet - tailored

specifically to you and your uniqueness - can be appropriately assimilated

and nourish your body to optimal health.

Perfectly healthy. People assume because I am passionate about functional

nutrition that I eat flawlessly all the time. I don’t. People think that I have

the ideal lifestyle habits. I don’t. People presume I have always had or

experience now excellent health. I wish. I am on a journey, too. In many

ways, I wish I would have known then what I know now about a holistic

approach. But it is what it is and it’s part of what makes me who I am -

flawed, seasoned, wiser and, out of this, able to help others make the best

choices possible for themselves and their loved ones.

A know-it-all. I just know enough to make me dangerous. Seriously, the

more I learn, the more I realize I have yet to learn.

A magician. Healing can take time and everyone is different. Some people

have striking results within a few days while others can take much longer

before they experience any notable improvements. Chances are, you didn’t

end up in this situation overnight. Reversing course and healing won’t

happen that quickly, either. So, if you are looking for a quick fix, magic pill

or the latest and greatest “diet” from a perfectly

modeled food wizard, I’m not your gal.
